I made the lobster bisque tonight but bought brandy instead of sherry. there’s a BIG difference in those two boozes, btw, in case you, like me, didn’t realize that. one is a wine and one is hard liquor.
it tastes ok but a little off.
I have more lobster stock so I’ll try again soon.
Stella went for a swim today
and i am eating lobster for the second time in one week. feels like i am in bizarro land.
today:
hey remember those lobsters i murdered the other day? i read last night that the lobster brain is so un-complex -i know that’s not a word but i haven’t had enough coffee yet to find the right one -that lobstermen don’t think they have any pain receptors. and so i feel a little less guilty.
i am attempting to make bisque today with the shells.

I spent a little too much time with the lobsters and now I’m conflicted. who, other than Homer, ever thought of keeping pet lobsters?
I guess that would be me.
