went and talked to everyone relevant in my neighbourhood about the dog thing. went to the fire department by the park where i take her (what’s with firemen all being so hot anyway? is it like some kind of prerequsite?) and gave the heads up about the poisonings.
didn’t get a muzzle. instead i bought a big bag of treats and had her head up by my side in heel position the whole walk....

so i can walk her safely without her eating something off the ground that might kill her. isn’t that crazy?? she already scares people sometimes (people think she looks like a pit bull) just with her chain lead (she chews through anything else) and now i am adding to her ferocious look with more scary dog paraphernalia.

i just got a call from a friend. her dog went through the exact same thing also on Monday. he’s ok. they got him to the vet in time. another dog wasn’t so lucky.
this is crazy. who would do this??
i just rushed home from work to check on Stel. she was ok. she was sleeping in my bed.
