Stella and I were just giggling
over bowlingalleylawyers description of her portrait.
everyone should go to Newfoundland.
everyone.
it’s really one of my favorite places on earth.
just do yourself a favor and go in the summer. it’s probably the foggiest place on earth as well. i will post some pics of home after the gym.
eating cake for dinner has its downside.
i need to get back to Newfoundland as soon as...
i just need to.
it’s going to be super difficult. i haven’t even looked at my photos from my trip home in February (i haven’t lived there since i was 8 but i still call it home) as it was just too hard.
i think about my grandfather everyday. i think about my grandmother too and worry about her being alone. i know she has tons of family around her but she lost her best friend...

Ten Years Ago
nashvilleneedsmoremetaphors:
I was married on May 29th, 1999. I was 24. That’s an incredibly young age for anyone to be married, and if I’m perfectly honest I’d say ill-advised. It wasn’t a shotgun wedding or anything…we were just young, in love, and nuts. Nevertheless, I don’t regret it for a second. I’m still in love with her.
Nine years ago today, every single one of our friends and...

there’s also this pic of Justin and some other dude snuggling in a very comfy looking bed. not the dude in the red shorts…but just Justin and some other guy. sleeping.
i like a man who’s comfortable enogh with his sexuality to sleep all snuggly like with another guy and then post the pic on his blog. oh and for the record, he’s straight. he has a gf. but she’s not me...
i'm a creep...
but i have to post this…it’s from Justin Vernon’s blog…from just before he went into the woods and wrote the epic epic shit that i now count as part of my daily joy, For Emma Forever Ago.
i’ve been reading his blog all day. i love this man. and the people he knows too. they all look beardy and awesome (except for the girls…who don’t have beards but still...
i have been listening to Grizzly Bear
since noon.
overkill?
facebook reactivate.
well i reactivated my stupid fakebook account. it seems that this is the only contact i have with a few important people to me including my kid sister. she doesn’t answer her phone either (she’s a chip off the old block) and her texts get returned hours later…but facebook? facebook she’s message you back straight away! i don’t get it. either way. i’m back.
wow.
so lovely.

Seriously - I thought I was going to die in Naples. It was like a holocaust. Awful. I had 2 thoughts (1) how do I get out of this place before someone slits my throat (2) what in the name of holy jesus was wrong with Dean Martin he sang all those “bella Napoli” songs?
omg. i thought the exact same thing. i thought someone was going to rob me in the train station. granted it was 2 am...

Don’t apologise, they’re nice! I’m going to Italy for the first time on my honeymoon later this summer (although we’re going to the Amalfi coast rather than Rome) but everytime anyone even mentions Italy as a whole, I get excited!
Lucky you. I’ve been all over Italy. Lake Garda, Rome, Venice, Naples (don’t go there) the Amalfi coast, the islands. Beautiful. Really. ...

definitely take the boat to Positano. it’s a few towns up the shore (north) and i loved it there. the shopping was GENIUS!

i am so restless!!! i want to travel! money is not important to me (if it was i think i’d have tried to sell this place off a long time ago…) but with money come certain luxuries. travelling is number one. shopping while travelling…definitely number two. i remember walking down the Via Condotti and being just dazzled. the LV store there beckoned to me wickedly, as did the...
